Reminder that this Sunday, January 29th, at 1 PM in Union Room 3408 we will have our spring semester ballot meeting. If you want your voice to be heard in our schedule for this semester, please come and vote! If you can’t make it, I’ve emailed a copy of the ballot, and the file is available on our Facebook page (The COUp Table). You can fill it out and email it to either me (lydiaoka@live.unc.edu) or Tamara (tamaralr@live.unc.edu), and we’ll be able to count your votes. We’ll need all absentee ballot by Sunday at 5 PM!

Hello again to all the nerds who have survived the snow apocalypse and the first week of classes! Before we can start watching anime this semester, we’ve got to vote!

If you have any suggestions for this semester, please send them to me or Tamara by this Wednesday (1/18). Some basic guidelines are that the show needs to have some conclusion in 12 or 13 episodes, preferably not shown on Toonami, and that COUp has not watched it in the past 4 years.

The ballot meeting for this semester will be Sunday January 29th at 1 PM in Union Room 3408. An absentee ballot will be sent out about a week ahead of the ballot meeting if you can’t make it. I’ll send out reminders for the ballot meeting when we get closer to the date.

We plan to start having regular meetings on January 31st in a location to be determined. We will send out that information when we get to reserve rooms for this semester.

Some of the other events this semester will include the annual Redline is Love and Spring Picnic. We plan to go to karaoke this semester, and have at least one movie outing with all the different anime movies coming to theaters (Tamara will send out information about those when they come out). Since this year is COUp’s 20th anniversary, a large event is in the works! Look out for it!

Hello everyone!

Sending out this reminder that tomorrow we will be watching the live action rendition of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney! Because this movie is a bit more than two hours long we will be starting COUp at 6:30PM.

For those of you who would like to join us for dinner tomorrow we will be meeting at bottom of Lenoir at 5:00 instead of 5:15.

Tomorrow will be our first COUp get-together for the semester as we’ll be voting on shows to watch this semester! The ballot meeting will be held tomorrow (Sat) at 2PM in Student Union Room 3408. If you for any circumstance can’t make it to this meeting, attached are absentee ballots you can fill out and send to either myself or Lydia(lydiaoka@live.unc.edu). The deadline to submit these absentee ballots is this Sunday evening.
