So, as you guys know, we unfortunately had to miss another meeting last week due to snow. We want to be able to finish off our regular shows before the semester ends, so we’re going to have to make some changes to the schedule in order to fit everything in. Originally, The Tale of Princess Kaguya was scheduled to be shown on April 21. Instead, we will now be using this meeting to double up on our regular shows (so we’ll be watching two episodes of each) and we will have a special showing of Princess Kaguya, which will take place on a weekend later this month. Since this is a Studio Ghibli film, I feel like enough people will be interested in seeing it to justify such an event.

We want to know if/when most of you will be able to make it though, so if you are interested, please respond to THIS poll with the dates you will be available. Please only respond to the poll if you think it is likely that you will attend. If you want to see more information about the movie, you can find it HERE.

As far as our weekly schedule goes, everything else should stay the same– it’ll all just be pushed back a week. So tomorrow, we’ll pick back up with Space Pirate Captain Harlock and episode 4 of our regular shows. And don’t forget you can always double-check over on the SCHEDULE.

It’s springtime! A new semester has started, and with a new semester also comes new shows to watch every Saturday night. You can check out the Spring 2015 schedule over on the main schedule page.

Welcome to the website for UNC’s anime club COUp! FallFest happened last night and was a big success. If you happen to be one of the new people who signed up, you should come to our Interest Meeting on Saturday, August 23, at 2pm. It’ll be in Union Room 3408, but if you don’t know where that is, don’t worry. We’ll have people in the union lobby who will help guide you to the room.

At the meeting, we’ll be telling you guys a little more about the club and watching a movie. Afterwords, we’ll probably head to Franklin Street for some food, and then on to Game Night for anyone who is interested. Also, if you have any question or suggestions for things we should watch this semester, you should let me (tlyoung@live.unc.edu) or Katelyn (katelynm@live.unc.edu) know.

Due to inclement weather, the January 28th meeting was cancelled. Have no fear though, the schedule has been adjusted to reflect this change. Go check it out so you aren’t lost!

The first meeting of the semester is tonight in Chapman 201. Don’t forget to bring some money ($8.75 to be exact) if you’d like to pick up your COUp shirt. There were a few extras ordered, so find Cameron at the meeting if you want to purchase one of them.

Hey everyone! Just as a heads up, the Spring 2013 Schedule is up on the site. Our regulars are Space Dandy, Kyousougiga, and the second half of Attack on Titan. Neat!

Another heads up, our first meeting is going to be this upcoming Tuesday January 28 in Gardner 105. The rest of the meetings this semester will be in Chapman 201.

A third heads up, there will be a big box o’ shirts at the next few COUp meetings. If you placed an order for a shirt at the end of last semester and haven’t yet picked yours up, please bring $8.75 to a meeting in the next few weeks to get yours! And for those of you that didn’t place an order last semester, there are still a few extra that you can buy if you’d like.
